The Five Elements Teacher Training has been created to ignite our deepest knowing, spark a fierce commitment to being utterly awake and inspire profound dedication to living yoga.

The habits, patterns and armor we believe define us and our lives can be worn away, as we explore - and then reach beyond - the philosophy of yoga and asana practice in order to unite body, mind and spirit into a vibrant whole.

The Elements

For the April 20-28 2012 Immersion we’ve chosen the idyllic Amansala Retreat located on a pristine beach in Tulum, Mexico - approximately 2 hrs south of Cancun. Famous for the spectacular Mayan ruins, clear turquoise water and white sandy beaches, it is a relatively undiscovered eco-friendly paradise. All of our rooms are individually hand crafted with attention to detail and include comfortable beds, soft sheets and towels, private bathrooms and ample closet space. All rooms are designed in harmony with nature and have thatched palapa roofs, in a village-like atmosphere. Included in your stay are three delicious and lovingly prepared vegetarian meals each day and 100 hours of training . You will immerse completely and emerge renewed.

For the next 100 hours, join us August 3-12 2012 for teacher training in San Francisco California. We’ll immerse in the elements of Water, Air and Ether and explore the city experience, learning how to integrate living your yoga amidst making meals, driving, and often family as well, if you’re coming from home each morning. The Water, Air and Ether modules also include daily asana, pranayama and mediation as well as anatomy, Mudras, Bhandas, pre/post natal yoga, ritual, chakras and more chanting. We meet every morning at 7am and enjoy full days together including some evenings as well.

These modules can be taken together or alone.
